Islam dating restrictions
Ramadan, the holy month of Muslims and the ninth month of Islamic calendar is the month of fasting for the Muslims. Fasting is supposed to be one of the five pillars (duties) of Islam, which a Muslim should follow.
Ramadan involves fasting during the daytime, saying no to food, drink, smoking and sexual activities.
Loving God and following His ultimate guidance is the sole reason and goal in Muslim belief. The more real answer is that yes, a lot of Muslims do. This type of dating to see if it's going anywhere or just stringing people along with heartache is not in Islamic law.
The reason for this is that Muslim priorities are long-term and originate from God.
Please remember this whenever you're faced with a Muslim conundrum. Some Muslims outright say it 'I'm dating' and they are, in the complete boy-meets-girl-third-base sense. This entire dating culture of meeting someone for only sex, for only a short-term relationship, is not the ideal or healthiest way to go about finding a partner-in-crime.During Ramadan Muslims follow certain conditions, which are said to be Ramadan rules and regulations; some of them are given below: Ramadan starts with the sighting of the crescent moon (hilal) and last for a period of one month. The meal before sunrise is called the suhoor meal and the meal after the sunset is called the Iftar meal. During Ramadan Muslims spend most of their time in remembering Allah by reciting Ramadan Dua and visiting mosque. When the hilal is visible again at the end of the month, it is the time to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr (break the fast). Apart from the five daily prayers they also recite Taraweeh prayer, and on Lailatul Qadr, also called as the night of power, when Muslims spend their entire night praying to Allah.Such goals also ensure that a couple really serious about getting together understand just how important their relationship is in their faith.Just like the government only gets involved with married individuals (a man/woman can sleep around all they want without responsibility), God's relationship laws are only for those with the maturity and intellect to legally commit.
Sexual relationships, or any physical relationship between a man and woman for that matter, is not the initial experience because any physical act requires a spiritual attachment.
